I’ll be honest in that I have never been great with my skin care routine. Sure, I love some pampering at the spa. Every now and again I will exfoliate, and moisturise. But it just isn’t consistent, it never has been. It has been even worse since the children came along. However, I made a decision that I was going to try to do more things for me. Pamper myself a little bit more. Spend a little more time feeling like Jo.
So when Peachy Fox London gave me the opportunity to try out a couple of products I was very happy. I was allowed to choose what I wanted so I chose;
Marine Collagen Eye Gel
Aloe Retinol Serum
Peachy Fox London –
“#OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE STUNNINGLY CLEAN PRODUCTS THAT REALLY DO WHAT THEY SAY ON THE BOTTLE.”
(Quote from their site)
“diminishes dark circles, puffiness & wrinkles. Instantly awake & transform your eyes! Ageless eye cream formula for younger looking eyes.”
Can you see now why I picked this one?
With having a baby, who at the time was waking multiple times in the night and a pre-schooler who would wake in the night when the baby didn’t, I have not only bags under my eyes but big black suitcases. Peachy Fox promised me diminished dark circles. My thought, if you can get rid of these circles then I am in!
I have been using the product every day now for a month. I really wanted to get a feel for it before I wrote a post.
When I received the tube I thought that it looked small and probably wouldn’t last too long. But I was wrong, the serum goes a long way. You only need a very small amount, dab it across your eyes and then let it soak in, no rubbing. Your skin on your eyes is delicate and you really shouldn’t be rubbing anything into them.
It didn’t happen overnight, I wouldn’t even say it has ‘diminished’ my dark circles. However, my eyes do look less puffy and I do look more awake. I think I will be blessed with dark circles under my eyes until my children are older, but hey, you can’t have everything. I can cover dark circles, I can’t cover puffiness. This serum has definitely helped with the puffiness.
Aloe Retinol Serum with Jojoba Oil for Face & Neck. Retinol Serum for Wrinkles, Fine Lines & Stressed Skin. Leaves Your Skin Looking Radiant, Younger and more Hydrated.
Creeping closer to mid 30’s I am more aware than my skin is
going to starting to change. I can see small wrinkles setting in, it’s OK but I know that I need to get into better habits now to keep the elasticity of my skin.
Again a small tube but from previous experience I know how a little goes a long way with Peachy Fox products and this is no different.
The smell of this product is amazing. A comforting smell of spa treatments and cleanliness. This was already ticking the boxes for me. I combined using this with the Sensse Massager for a better absorbency. The serum felt really nice on my skin. It was cooling, even when using the warm setting on my massager, and it was easily absorbed. It didn’t feel heavy on my skin or that my pores were blocked.
My skin felt smooth for the evening that I had used it and into the morning. I found that my make up went on much better in the morning, less dry patches and just a smoother finish.
Once you’ve applied the serum and rubbed it in, your told to “tap your fingers gently” on your face. There’s no explanation for why you need to do it, I have no idea – maybe you could shed some light on this for me?
Love or Loathe?
The products that I have tried I have been really pleased with.
I love the design of the products.
Both retail at a very good price and I feel that they will last a long time; as I mentioned I have been using the eye serum every day for a month already and it still has plenty left in it.
My favourite has to be the eye serum, it really is working wonders with my tired eyes.
