I have no idea where October went. Admittedly October is one of our busiest months as a family and so it is no wonder it went so quickly really. The nights have pulled in and now is time for casseroles, wooly jumpers and X Factor which can only mean one thing! We are officially in the countdown to Christmas.

Of late it has really dawned on me just how tired I have been. Some days I feel like I am struggling to stay awake at my desk. I’m sure that I’m not the only Mummy who wonders how on earth we get through the day sometimes, spinning all those plates hoping that one doesn’t drop.
3rd November 2017
We are officially on the countdown to Christmas and I am very much in full swing of shopping for Christmas presents. It is hard sometimes with being on a budget, so when Britmums were looking for people to take part in the # SDFiverChallenge I knew it would be perfect for me!

Mums usually take sleep for granted in the first few months of their baby’s life. This is understandable, considering that newborns have a lot of needs that they need to look after. However, this can be detrimental in the long run.

Koh Samui, Thailand was one of my favourite holidays and somewhere that I cannot wait to go back to. Sam has never been and so it will be great to travel together, and with the children. There is so much culture to experience that the children would get so much from a trip there.

I’m not even sure how I found Secret Cloud House Holidays. I remember wanting to treat Sam to a trip away for his birthday and our wedding anniversary. We needed to have some time on our own, to sleep and to be us.
17th October 2017
You may have noticed that this last week I have not been around as much as normal. I’ve not written any posts, and social media has been a bit lacking. I had to put everything on the back burner and really put my family first.

You’ve taught me that it is OK not to be perfect. It doesn’t matter if the housework isn’t done everyday. You’ve taught me it is much more important to enjoy the company of those most important to us. That it is OK to be a fool. To ignore other people looking and let go, to have fun.
2nd October 2017
I don’t know about you but I find that my children are always hungry. They would graze all day everyday if they could, who needs proper meals right?
