Half way through the year! June has been and gone. Summer solstice happened and we’re in the middle of a temperamental summer. I just do not know where the time has gone.
Here’s what has been happening!
So we thought we might get some respite from all the sickness we’ve had but once the kids had recovered from their tummy bugs they then came down with really bad colds. Jessica was diagnosed with hay fever and suffered with her eyes quite a lot.
We’ve celebrated my Dad’s birthday and Sam’s birthday and have waited for two babies to appear! Unfortunately the babies are late but gives some more excitement for July!
Posts feel like they have slowed down a bit now that I am back at work. Juggling work, looking after the kids, cleaning the house and running the blog has been hard work. I love it but it does mean that my posts are less, for now.
We have been lucky enough to be sent a Critter Habitat and Kidnoculars from Learning Resources to review. Not only that we are giving away a set of Kidnoculars. There is still time to enter as it ends 13 July. You can enter here!
Elizabeth over at Jihi Elephant hosts a new series called “I Love Summer Because” and I was lucky enough to guest for her series. You can see why I love summer here.
I was also invited to write for Laura over at Laura’s Lovely Blog. Laura covers parenting, books and lifestyle. Perfect for Reuben to share his top ten books! You can see his choices here
