The first one was the climbing over the durdles and trudging through knee deep water before climbing back out – TWICE! The initial getting wet is always the worst and after this we were squelching round the course.

I love socialising. Whether that is with friends, as a family or on a date with my husband. Socialising for me means food. Great food and great company.

Worst of all, I felt shamed that part of me was excited to be going back. Why would I be excited about being at work and away from my children? That’s not right is it?

When I saw that Alder Hey Children’s Charity were looking for help with their awareness campaign, I really wanted to get involved.
Alder Hey Children’s Charity raises vital funds to help make Alder Hey in the Park a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital. The hospital cares for 275,000 patients and families every year.

Normally we pick CentreParcs for a holiday. This year we decided that Butlins would suit us better this time, the cost was very similar to CentreParcs but there was a lot more included, lots of activities, swimming, a fair and shows to name a few!

It was always a struggle to get out of the house on time with just Reuben. You know what it is like with, then two year old. Mornings would consist of “Let’s get you dressed Reuben”, “Can you eat your breakfast Reuben” and “Reuben we’re running late, come on”. Now throw in a baby, how am I going to get out of the house on time?
